Literally AliveTM is a NYC -based children’s theatre company that produces original musicals based on classic children’s literature, which comes to life onstage. In addition to a full professional production, families can participate in a pre-show arts workshop.

We are committed to engaging children in the arts, which develops their imagination and instills the mental flexibility necessary to utilize creative, problem solving in their adult life. High-quality theatrical productions which offer engaging costumes and sets, as well as performances by talented professional actors, reach across the footlights and welcome the child in.

We are in residence at the Players Theatre located at 115 MacDougal Street in the heart of Greenwich Village. Now in our 14th season, previous productions have included “The Ugly Duckling“, “The Little Mermaid“, “Alice in Wonderland“,”The Velveteen Rabbit“, “Beauty and the Beast“, Oscar Wilde’s “The Selfish Giant“, “Stone Soup“,”Treasure Island“,”Cinderella“, “Tico Tales “and “A Christmas Carol“.
