Enrich your Class field trip to the zoo with an educational program. Our inquiry- and standards-based curricula take advantage of the Zoo’s naturalistic exhibits and allow students up-close encounters with animals from the Zoo’s unmatched educational animal collection in a supervised environment.
CPF (City Parks Foundation) is the only nonprofit organization to create programs in parks throughout all five boroughs of New York City. We enrich and connect New Yorkers through free and accessible arts, sports, education and community-building initiatives.
The Met currently has a global scope of its collections and extends across the world through a variety of initiatives and programs, including exhibitions, excavations, fellowships, professional exchanges, conservation projects, and traveling works of art.
All the demonstrations are hands on. We let our audience touch and operate the enterpreneurial and inventive spirit of the past, and learn the origins of the modern world around them. We’ll capture your interest with intriguing antiques that people encountered and used during the WW 2 era.
A demonstration of items like the telegraph and windup paragraph is sure to catch your attention!
We then describe rationing and Victory Gardens using items from the Applebee’s Menu! Followed by lunch!
On the Menu:
Enjoy a delicious selection of either a hamburger or cheese burger, a chicken finger platter or mac & cheese followed by an ice cream, dessert and unlimited soft drinks!
