Crayola Experience Calendar

Crayola Experience welcomes educators and their classrooms! For more than 15 years, we’ve helped educators plan memorable field trips that deliver colorful hands-on learning outside the classroom.

Ever wonder why all Crayola crayons are a little bit hollow? How expansion and contraction help make the perfect crayon? Or what would happen if pigment isn’t added to a crayon? We can put together a unique lesson to show your students the science of melted wax and the behind-the- scenes magic that turns it into the crayon they know and love. A day at the Crayola Experience also includes unlimited access to all four floors of hands-on attractions that encourage creative thinking and self-expression. Contact our group sales team for more information on our affordable, customization group packages.

Our corporate website, Crayola.com, also offers lesson plan ideas, classroom resources, and the latest information regarding special programs and offers.

How It’s Made

What do you get when you mix hot wax, colored pigments, and the magic of the Crayola brand? Answer: The most colorful stop in town and one of the only places in the world to see Crayola Crayons made the same way that they have been since 1903. Watch closely as your own 4-count souvenir is molded, labeled, and packed right before your eyes!

Crayola Markers are also made on The Experience Floor. Can you name the five parts of a Crayola Marker? You’ll be able to after your visit to The Crayola Experience and don’t forget your souvenir Crayola Marker!

My girl Loved every single minute of up until I had to tell
we have to go home and we can not live in the factor. They have so much to
offer while your there and at the store you can find everything you ever need
to keep your child in touch with their creative side. You leave there with some
many ideas for future art exploration. Honestly, I think I enjoyed just as much
as she did really, it was just great getting in tune with the child within and
sharing the moment with your child on an even plain. Its one trip I am glad I
    didn’t miss out on.

Honestly, this was my girls most memorable in PA. It was
amazing and I have it all on video. The girl utilized all the materials for
their artwork but that’s not all. They used the work they made and like true little
drama queens they put on an improve to show for everyone. It actually brought
tears of joy to my tough guy husband.
